The Fugitive Creative: A Practice of Residing in Your Own Humus Soil
This generative workshop engages the mind, body, and spirit in mapping out its humus—the “dark organic matter” nourishing your boldest and daring ideas. Led by Arisa White, folx will sift through their fears, inhibitions, and the social expectations that hinder creativity by participating in somatic + centering exercises, deep questioning, and reflective writing. Together we will conceive of practices and design prompts that free and express your inescapable self.
Free & open to all (16+), centered around Black and Brown community members, and will take place in person at60 Cove Street studio in Portland, ME.
